The Houston Rockets locked up forward Amen Thompson with a five-year, $208 million rookie-scale extension, the team announced Thursday.
The Rockets’ announcement followed initial reporting from ESPN’s Shams Charania that the two sides had reached an agreement. The deal covers a player Houston selected fourth overall in the 2023 draft. It runs through the 2031-32 season.
